How to delete a folder from your own bucket

You already own the folder. You want the folder and everything in it gone.

1. No bucket yet

You need S3-compatible object storage. Not another Drive clone.

2. Open Files and delete the folder

Sign in at file.rocks. Open Files.

Open the folder row menu. Choose Delete.

The modal title is Delete folder and all files? The body is Are you sure you want to delete this folder and all the files in it? Click Delete folder and files (or Cancel).

The toast is Deleting folder... then Folder deleted. The prefix and the objects under it leave the connected bucket.

3. There is no trash

A failed delete toasts Failed to delete folder.

The objects live in your bucket. Your provider sets the object limits.

4. Then stop

Keep the bucket paid. That folder is not coming back from file.rocks.
