How to sort files in your own bucket

You already own the objects. You want the list in a useful order.

file.rocks is the UI. Sort only reorders the current Files view. It does not rename objects or change the bucket.

This is Sort. It is not a remake of how to search files in your own bucket or how to tag files in your own bucket. Search finds. Tag labels. Sort reorders what you already see.

1. No bucket yet

You need S3-compatible object storage. Not another Drive clone.

2. Sort the list

Sign in at file.rocks. Open Files. Pick a bucket you own.

The toolbar sort control shows the current field: Name, Size, or Modified, plus an up or down arrow. The title is Sort by {field} ascending or Sort by {field} descending.

Open it. Pick Name, Size, or Modified. A new field defaults to ascending.

Click the same option again to flip ascending and descending.

The list reorders in place. Nothing in the connected bucket changes.

3. Then stop
