How to clean up near-duplicate photos in your own bucket
You already own the photos. Burst shots and near copies are eating space.
file.rocks is the UI. Cleanup reviews them. The keep and recycle hit the bucket you connected.
This is Near-duplicate photos under Settings → Cleanup. Visual similarity. It is not the inventory Likely duplicates path (same ETag or hash). 1. No bucket yet
You need S3-compatible object storage. Not another Drive clone.

2. Open Near-duplicate photos
Sign in at file.rocks. Open Settings → Cleanup. Pick the bucket if needed.
Open Near-duplicate photos (/settings/cleanup/near-duplicates).
If the list is empty, click Rescan. Empty is normal until embeddings finish. Do not invent a guaranteed count.
3. Keep one per group
For each group, pick Keep on the photo you want to keep.
Select the groups you are ready to clean. Click Keep & recycle. Confirm Accept near-duplicate suggestions / Keep selected.
The toast is Cleaned N group(s). Or click Dismiss to skip a group.
Recycle respects Trash when Trash is enabled under Settings → Automations. Files row Delete is still a hard delete. That path is how to delete a file from your own bucket.
4. What this is not
This is not Likely duplicates on inventory. That is exact hash or ETag matching. This page is visual near-duplicates only.

5. Then stop
