How to delete multiple files from your own bucket

You already own the objects. You want a stack of them gone.

file.rocks is the UI. The delete hits the bucket you connected.

1. No bucket yet

You need S3-compatible object storage. Not another Drive clone.

2. Select, then Delete

Sign in at file.rocks. Open Files. Pick a bucket you own.

Check one or more file or folder rows. Or use the header checkbox (Select all files). The toolbar shows {N} selected.

Click toolbar Delete.

The confirm title is Delete N item(s)?. The body is Are you sure you want to delete N item(s)?. Buttons are Delete and Cancel.

Click Delete.

The toast is Deleting N item(s)... then Deleted N item(s). If only some succeed, you get Deleted X of N item(s). A full fail toasts Failed to delete items.

The objects leave the connected bucket. You are not deleting a file.rocks-only copy.

3. Hard delete, folders can ride along

There is no trash. No soft-delete. No undo.

The toasts say item and items on purpose. Checked folders ride along with files.

Your provider sets the object limits. Keep the bucket paid for what remains.

4. Then stop
